The Sync'Em menu extra provides status information and operational control for Sync'Em which, after being configured, generally runs automatically and silently in the background.
Existing sync setups can be renamed, disabled/enabled or removed.
Information sources that are "sync'd together" by a given sync setup can be disabled/enabled, added or removed. There's a similar window shown for Calendar events setups.
The first step is to indicate which kind of information sources are going to be sync'd.
The next step is to provide a name for the sync setup.
The next step is to indicate how may of each of the possible information sources you'll be syncing, so the setup assistant can guide you through the setup for each one.
The lead-in to setting up an information source that resides in Exchange. These steps apply whether you're setting up to sync contacts or calendar events.
If the information source resides in an Exchange account that's already been setup, that account setup can be selected. If not, a new Exchange account setup can be created.
If it's configured on the Exchange server, Sync'Em will use Exchange's autodiscover capabilities to autofill your Exchange account setup.
When the "Next" button is pressed, the Setup assistant will verify the Exchange account setup.

If Sync'Em is unlicensed and/or the Sync'Em Engine has not been started, the Setup assistant requires that they're done before proceeding.

Meeting agents can be created to automatically check for, and retrieve, invites and responses. Normally, one meeting agent would be created for each Exchange account that could receive invitations and responses.
Since a given Exchange or Google account setup is often used in multiple places, the Accounts tab provides a convenient place to make changes to an account setup.
